jamzli started as a passion project for us and our friends. It was made with love, for the music, for live shows, for the culture that grows around them. We wanted a way to hold onto that feeling and stay connected to the people who share it, and nothing like it existed.
Most of what's out there feels hastily thrown together, or churned out by AI with no soul, no taste, no human hand. We wanted the opposite: something built with care, by people who actually love music, made with the taste and humanity it deserves. So, we built it.
The music is the catalyst. It opens you up and pulls you closer, to the people around you and to yourself. Some of life's biggest moments happen at a show. jamzli was made to help us hold onto them, and to bring more of us together.
The music deserved something that's just about the music. No ads. No selling our personal information. No nagging us to upgrade. We're building jamzli to be something that lasts, so the memories we store here today are still ours to look back on for years to come.
jamzli is a live show companion for music fans, built with jam bands in mind. Plan your show day, follow the night song by song, and remember it all after. Coordinate with friends before a show, react to the music together during it, and keep your group on the same page about who's going where. It's a place to record the moment, remember the music, and connect with fellow fans, in real time and long after the lights come up.
When the show starts, its Live page comes alive. The setlist fills in automatically as the night unfolds, and you can play along. Guess the opener before the lights go down (predictions lock about 30 minutes before showtime), call songs as they land with the crowd, and tag the jams you love as they happen.
You'll also see which other fans and friends are at the same show, so even if you didn't make plans ahead of time, you can connect once you're there.
When it's over, jamzli builds you a recap of the night, and the show becomes a card in your deck. That's when you make it yours. Add your photos, a rating, and the notes you want to remember. The whole night stays in one place, ready to look back on.
Your collection of cards. Every show you experience becomes one, whether you're there in person or at home. You can make a card for a show you catch in the car three months later (because it still matters). Each card includes all the show info and the setlist (tagged by you), and you can set the front and back images (and attach other photos), your rating, who was there with you, and your thoughts. You can make cards for all your past shows too. The deck becomes your record of your live-music life.
Collectible stickers tied to real moments. They're surprise drops we run around shows and tours, but can appear whenever. You can also get stickers from people (and give them), but ONLY in person. When you give a sticker, your copy is actually transferred to the recipient and disappears from your sticker book.
The stickers live in your book, under the stickers section. You can put the stickers on your Cards for extra feeling, meaning or just fun. Each sticker is a unique digital item, so while you can send people pictures of the sticker digitally, you cannot send anyone the sticker.
Add friends by their @handle. Share yours so people can find you, and search someone else's to add them. You can also scan a friend's QR code when you're together at a show, or find friends from your contacts. And at any show you'll see other fans who are going, so you can connect on the spot, even if you didn't plan ahead.
Follow a band and all its upcoming shows land in your feed. Mark where you stand on each one (I'm in, maybe, or can't make it) and flag whether you'll be there in person or on couch tour. On any show you'll see which friends are going, invite them along, and with one tap start or join a WhatsApp group for the night. Everyone's plans stay in one place.
At the heart of jamzli is the jam world: Grateful Dead, Phish, Billy Strings, Dead & Co, Dogs in a Pile, Spafford, Goose, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and many more.
jamzli is in early access on iPhone through Apple's TestFlight. Tap Join the beta, install the TestFlight app if you don't have it, then install jamzli from there.
You can browse without one: follow bands, see upcoming shows, and read setlists. To save shows, build your deck, vote on setlists, or add friends, you create an account with just your email. Sign-in is a one-time 8-digit code sent to that email. No password, no phone number.
One thing to remember: your account lives on your email address. If you come back later, sign in with the same email you started with; a different one starts a brand-new empty account.
The short version: no ads, and we never sell your personal information. We're upfront about what we collect and why. We only ask for things like location, photos, and contacts for features you choose to use, such as checking in at a show, and you can turn any of them down and still use jamzli. You can delete your account inside the app at any time. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Not during the beta. jamzli is iPhone-only for now, but Android is on the roadmap.
During the beta, the fastest path is TestFlight's built-in feedback (take a screenshot in the app and add a note).
Lizards shed and regrow. That's growth and rebirth, which is what these shows do to you, if you let them. And, also, lizards are cool.
The circle around it is an ensō, a single brushstroke, one breath, imperfect on purpose. That's a jam. That's a night at a show. That's you, and that's life.
But that's just our read. The lizard, the ensō, and their endless dance are yours to figure out however you like.
A few things, some on purpose and some happy accidents. But mostly, it's a way of saying my jam. So make it yours.
